Remember to never give a bunny under six months old nothing but their feed, hay, and water. Remember that if they are under six months old their digestive systems are not able to digest the extra foods correctly. Feeding anything but their feed pellets ad hey before they are six months old can result in death.

Beause I see so many babies leaving everyone's Rabbitry this weekend I thought that it would be a good idea to post something about what to do when you bring your babies home.
If you have a new doe and you want to breed her, you need to know some things first.
Have you had a rabbit inside? Do you have wood floors? If you have wood floors and you have a bunny inside you are constantly taking that chance that your cute little furry faced bunny will pee outside of its cage and you not realizing it. It can be devastating to move the cage to clean and finding a big black mark on your floors. Who wants to move something and find that something so small and cute just ruined a part of a VERY expensive floor. I know this from experience. Just yesterday (6.3.2016) I moved my Holland Lop's cage and found a HUGE mark on the floor. Immediately I started thinking ' How can I fix this? ' and ' What can remove this? ' I began doing some research. I have not conducted any of the methods yet but I will begin conducting them later on today. One website said to pour peroxide on the stain, soak a rag in some peroxide, lay the soaked rag on-top of the puddle of peroxide, lay plastic over top of that and leave it over night. They said that the next morning the stain was gone. I also posted on some of the facebook groups asking if anyone knew how to rid the floor of the stain. I hot several answers, some I am skeptical to. Some people said warm water and dawn dish soap, while others said Baking Soda and vinegar. People had said to put baking soda on the floor and scrub it in and then pour vinegar on it and scrub again. When you are done with the scrubbing then you simply wipe away. The most reliable one that I read was that if none of the other things worked, just sand the stain down and re-finish that one spot. Now for me, I have around seven different urine stains on my hard wood floors. I will try some of them and write up another posting about what I find to be the best way to get rid of the dreadful urine stain.
http://www.oldhouseweb.com/how-to-advice/best-solutions-for-removing-old-pet-urine-stains-from-hardwood-floors.shtml ALWAYS put the doe (girl) into the buck (boy) cage. You could put both doe and buck into a new cage but put the buck in first. The doe will get territorial if you put the buck into her cage. Rabbits can be pregnant for 28-31 days. Do not take pictures with a flash of the babies until they have had their eyes open for a few days. DO NOT feed babies any fruits or vegetables until they are ATLEAST six months old. The digestive system om a baby under six months is not miture enough to digest anything more than the feed pellets and hay. Resukts of feeding tready/fruits/vegetables to early to fatal. Wondering how to sex day old kits (baby rabbits)? Look at the picture below!!!
